Dr Kelly Royds

Kelly works to make systems and services better for young people by listening and responding to their voices through participatory and action research, policy reform and youth-centered program design and evaluation.

She is a Policy & Advocacy Manager for Youth Action NSW, where she advocates to ensure public policy reflects the diverse interests and concerns of young people, youth workers and youth services.

Previously, Kelly worked in the United States for the City of Cambridge, leading evaluation and storytelling efforts for youth development programs, and across South-East Asia, managing an intercultural education program for an international development organisation. Kelly has a PhD in social sciences from the University of New South Wales.
